Reading selections for July and August!

Here's our selections for the next couple of months. For July, Life of the Beloved, by Henri J. M. Nouwen. For August, you may select a Children's Literature book for an individual review. Sherry recommended this for August 2012 and we all enjoyed selecting, reading, and sharing great stories. We also have a list of other books to consider in the coming months: Enrique's Journey by Sonia Nazario; In the Shadow of the Banyan by Vaddey Ratner; Seven Men: and the Secret of Their Greatness by Eric Metaxas; Call the Midwife, by Jennifer Worth (also a PBS series is based on this memoir). It was a great time, lots of laughing and sharing! Also, welcome April Bumgardner to Second Tuesdays!

Our New Blog!

Hey everyone! Here's our book club blog! You'll need to "become a member" so that you can comment on it. Look for this on the right side of the blog.

Book Club is tomorrow night, June 11, at 7 pm. We'll be discussing an Ivy Malone book titled, "Invisible." It is by Lorena McCourtney. There are at least four in this series. If you stick with them, they do get more interesting than the first offering.
